After dozens of posts were published across multiple platforms on Tuesday, like LinkedIn and Threads, with the following text: “Gone but not missed. A long-awaited Buffer feature lands tomorrow” and this attached image was shared by dozens of Buffer users. Then followed by a announcement on Discord by Buffer’s wonderful Sabreen, Bulk Uploading!

Now with that unnecessary timeline done, let’s actually see what they added.
This new feature lets you turn almost any spreadsheet into posts that can be scheduled in Buffer.
“You can now convert a spreadsheet into up to 100 scheduled posts. Rows become ready-to-go posts, so you can go from planning to publishing without the busywork”
Why?
One of Buffers most requested feature is a Bulk Uploading tool, with over 437 upvotes on buffers suggestions board. “We've heard regularly that Buffer users want to be able to upload their drafts in bulk to Buffer and do so easily.”
How?
To to this is every easy and I even attached some images for you!
Navigate to the left sidebar from the Publish tab and select the channel you want to upload posts to.
Click on the gear icon (⚙️) next to the channel name to open the settings menu.

Next, click the General tab.

in the channel settings menu, click the Bulk Upload button.

Next, click Download CSV Template.
Then open it using a software like Microsoft Excel

Or you can make your own!
Make a new spreadsheet using software like Microsoft Excel
Column 1: Text
Column 2: Image URL
(Optional) Column 3: Tags, separated by commas
(Optional) Column 4: Posting Time, formatted as YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm, e.g., 2025-07-29 13:29
If you're using Excel in the United States the date and time will go MM-DD-YY Instead of YYYY-MM-DD, and the time will disappear. To fix this you can download my version here or select rows 2-101 and click on this tab here

select “More Formats” → Custom then type this “YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm”.

NOTE: Make sure your spreadsheet does not have over 100 posts, as of now 100 is the max for buffer
5. Then upload your posts to buffer
Happy Posting
