Shows a redesign of the iPhone 17 Pro’s antenna as found in this blog post by Majin Bu.
On iPhones, there are plastic antenna lines that allow the 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth signals to pass through the otherwise metal frame on the devices.
Based on rumors, the iPhone 17 Pro lineup is said to use Qualcomm modems for cellular connectivity, and the iPhone 18 Pro is said to use an Apple-made modem, the C2.
The rumored redesigned antenna will result in fewer antennas than the iPhone 16 lineup, but the iPhone 17 Pro lineup is said to include an Apple-designed WiFi 7 chip.
