YouTube plans to roll out a new redesign for its web video player.
YouTube has had the same video player for years. In 2023, YouTube added round corners, and just last year, they added “Related Videos” and a UI design.
Over the past 48 hours, some users have been sharing the new video player. As of now, I (Daniel Morrisey) don’t have access to the new video player.
The new redesign makes every button its own bubble. It gives off Liquid Glass vibes.
